Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Welcome to the Phi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at Youngstown State University,

Since being a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, I have not only found amazing sisters to make unforgettable memories with. I have also found myself surrounded by life leaders to stand beside me as I grow as a sorority woman and collegian. The Phi Lambda chapter continues to keep our ideals close to heart while striving to “Inspire Ambition” everywhere we go.

The women of the Phi Lambda chapter have helped shape the person I am today. I am forever grateful to have such wonderful sisters that always push me to reach my fullest potential.

Knowing that every year our chapter continues to improve in all aspects, I am excited to see where the future takes my sisters and I. The founders that were once here before us have worked so hard to form the tight knit chapter that we are all apart of here today.

On behalf of my sisters and I, we are excited to give you an insight into our chapter and all of the things that make us who we are. We are so lucky to be able to represent Alpha Omicron Pi at Youngstown State University.
